COLORNOISE Mood Perfumes are a collection of synesthesia-inspired perfumes, each correlating to a different mood or feeling. Synesthesia ("SIN-is-THEE-sha") is a rare and naturally occurring neurological phenomenon where a person's senses get switched around. This could result in the ability to smell colors, taste words, see sounds, or endless other variances. COLORNOISE Mood Perfumes contemplate the question: what would this feeling smell like?
WHY YOU NEED IT.
Most commercial scents are alcohol based, resulting in an intense initial experience followed by a quick disappearance as the scent evaporates along with the alcohol. Instead of harsh chemicals, all COLORNOISE perfumes are created with an oil base for a luxurious feel and longer-lasting scent. This high-quality perfume oil is meant to be a “personal” perfume- less overpowering when initially applied but longer lasting as the oil does not evaporate but rather absorbs into the skin and stays within your personal aura. If you prefer a lighter scent, spray only once; if you prefer a heavier scent spray on the skin and throughout the hair. This perfume is made with organic fractionated coconut oil, which is 100% natural, unscented, and will always stay in a liquid form. It features healthy proteins and vitamins which makes it an excellent skin moisturizer, and it is also safe and beneficial to use as a hair perfume. Please note that unlike alcohol-based perfumes, it is meant for skin or hair only- do not apply onto clothes or fabric as the oil may stain.
RITUAL.
Pull off the gold cap to uncover the sprayer. Spray once onto the wrist and massage into the skin until absorbed. Repeat as desired. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out while thinking about your magic shoppe. What do you see?

Because our perfumes are handmade to order, there may be slight variances between batches. Perfumes smell good but never drink or lick them! Always skin-patch test products first to avoid allergic reactions. Avoid applying in the eyes and mouth, on sensitive skin, or open wounds. Do not use if you are or could be sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Perfumes are best when used within one year of purchase. Our perfume bottles are reusable and have an outer gold cap that pulls off while the gold sprayer screws on to the bottle- make sure you don't accidentally unscrew the sprayer part so there are no leaks.

What if a perfume I want is out of stock?
All perfumes will be back in stock as soon as possible, unless they specifically say “Retired.” Please sign up for restock alerts which will send you an automatic email as soon as products are back in stock. Why do you not accept returns or refunds?
Buying perfumes online is difficult! That’s why we always have samples available for purchase for all of our current perfumes. We encourage you to purchase a sample set (or 2 or 3!) before ordering full-size perfumes.

What if my perfume arrives broken?
Unfortunately we can not control how mail is handled once is it handed off to the post office, and although all orders are packaged sufficiently, mail can still be destroyed during the shipping process. If your perfume arrives broken, please send us a picture through Etsy messaging or put in a help request through the Etsy Buyer Protection program and we will help to correct the issue ASAP.
What service do you use for shipping?
All packages will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage (First Class) Mail unless the buyer has paid for an upgrade. There is a rush processing option that can be purchased (when available) and other shipping upgrade options (Priority, 2-Day Express, etc.) are available at checkout.
Do you ship outside of the US?
Unfortunately COLORNOISE does not currently ship outside the US, we tried it for a while but 90% of packages were getting lost or damaged and combined with shipping, it was costing too much. We might try again one day in the future when there is enough business. Also, there are package forwarding services that exist (https://www.reviano.com/blog/best-parcel-forwarding-services.html), but we are not affiliated with any of them.
What are your shipping policies?
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide the correct shipping address. Once an item is shipped with a tracking number, no refunds will be given if it is shipped to an incorrectly provided address.
Once a tracking number is provided to you and the package is in transit, COLORNOISE has no control over it. Please contact USPS in regards to delays or deliveries. For delivery errors or missing "Delivered" packages, talk to your USPS mail person and file a claim.
Please keep track of your delivery day. COLORNOISE is not responsible for stolen packages; it is the buyer's responsibility to provide a safe delivery location.
Transactions are complete once the package tracking says "Delivered" to the address provided during checkout.

I don’t know who gave me a sample of this year but it was instant love. This is probably my favorite magical incense scents. It’s not a cheap incense note but a luxurious and expensive smelling one. It’s also a nostalgic scent for me because it reminds me of how all the New Age shops smell that I used to love. And a just a little spray goes a long way and lasts for hours!

As someone with synesthesia, I'm always curious about how other folks interpret concepts. This scent is just out of the mailbox, so will need more aging, but is very reminiscent of being in a place where spells are cast. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves.
